Note: New/edited rules are coloured in red. -- Quick Run-Down So that you can get the jist of our rules before joining the forum, here is a quick run-down of the major rules. Please try to read the whole rule guide at some point after joining, as they really help you to RP here with us!
-- No god-moding, power-playing, or mini-modding.
-- Characters must be either a human, a Quincy, a Shinigami, or a Hollow.
-- You must add an avatar to your profile, and your username should be the name of your character.
-- We are a literate forum, which means that decent, lengthy replies are expected.
-- Make a new account for each character (up to 3 only, please!) Tip: Use the first name of your character as an account name!
-- Signature images may be no larger than 500 x 180 pixels and should feature your character (no Bleach characters allowed!)
-- Violence should be kept to a minimum, and kept realistic (i.e. if you break a leg, it's going to take a while to heal!). You may not kill off other people's characters without permission.
-- Keep sexual relations to a PG-13 level.
-- Try to use [open] [private] and [closed] tags in your IC post titles ((Details on how/where to use them below)).
-- You may post applications that aren't finished (please put "WIP" in the title), but please don't leave them for more than a few days.
-- Rejected applications should be ready for another review within a week, or they will be deleted!

Please make sure that you read these at some point soon after joining. -- General 01. When joining the forum, please have your display name as the full name of your character. For example, my Display Name is 'Tachibana Kotarou', which is the name of my character. If you don't know what you want to character before you join, or forget to do this, then it will be done for you when your character application is accepted. You can change your Display Name by clicking on the 'Profile' button in the menu bar, then clicking on 'Modify Profile'.
02. Try your best to be active, and please post a message in the 'Introductions and Goodbyes' board if you are going away for a more than a week. I will also be conducting monthly activity checks, which will involve me sending out a mass email. You will need to post in the appropriate board to let me know that you’re still active.
03. Power-playing (creating a character that is perfect, and can never be bested), or God-moding (controlling the actions of characters which don't belong to you), is not tolerated and will be deleted/edited.
04. Mini-modding is strictly forbidden. Moderators and staff members are there for a reason; if you find that you always want to help out with new members who are having problems with posting etc., then apply for staff; please do not try and handle the matters yourself. Report any incidents to a staff member.
05. This is a literate site. This means that you should be posting with a reasonably high level of grammatical and spelling accuracy.
06. We play in third person past tense. If you don't know what that means, this probably isn't the board for you. However, a quick explanation is that you are telling the story from outside's the character's mindset and as if the events have already happened.
07. Please make sure to use tags in your IC topic titles that indicate whether your thread is open for anyone to reply in (e.g. [open]), private (e.g. [Shaun//Susan] or [Paulie]). Also, when your thread is finished, so that the mods know when it can be moved to the thread graveyard, you need to edit the first post using the "Modify" button to make the topic title say "[Closed]".
08. Don't post your character's application thread until you are 100% sure that it is complete! There's nothing more annoying for staff members than to find a new application, open it, and find that it's not even finished!
09. If your application is rejected, make sure that it is ready for another review by staff within a week, or it will be deleted! You must let staff know by PMing them when you're ready; do not use the cbox or post in your application thread. -- Characters 01. You may only have one character per account. Please don’t have more than three characters, though. It is strongly advised that you do not put more than one of your characters in the same thread, as this only causes confusion and you may end up RPing with yourself!
02. Characters may be in more than one plot/board at any one time. However, please make sure that you keep your character’s personal timeline in mind when posting!
03. You must apply for your character on the Character Applications board before you may roleplay on the site. If you try to post as your character before your application has been accepted, you will be sent a warning, and the post will be deleted. Also, please make sure to read all of the restrictions on new characters noted here. If you break restrictions, this constitutes as breaking a rule, and you will be warned.
04. Nobody is perfect! Please do not apply for a character who is absolutely stunning in appearance, has hundreds of friends, and is hated by no one. Trust me; nobody like that exists! So don't apply for them ^_^
05. Your character may be either a normal human (or one with a small amount of ability, for example being able to see spirits), a Shinigami (Sould Reaper), a Quincy, or a Hollow. I may allow Visoredeventually, but as this is an alternate universe roleplay, I'd need an entirely new plot to allow them. -- Personal Imaging 01. You must have an avatar. Take a look at the FAQ if you are unsure how to do this. Avatars may be up to be 100 x 150 pixles.
02. Signature images may be no larger than a total diameter of 500 x 200. This means that if you want two images, then the largest each can be is 250x100 each. There is no limit to how many lines of text etc. you may include, but please do not go overboard!
03. Characters from Bleach may not be used for character representation, except in the case of Hollow (as I'm not sure where else you could come up with images of them from!!)
04. Signature pictures must be related to your character. Avatars can be anything as long as they are not offensive.
05. Please do not post ANY images ANYwhere in the forum that are wider than 500 pixels. If you do, they will be removed. -- Restrictions 01. The rating for this forum is basically PG-13, as members can join from that age. So, cursing, moderate violence and some sexual situations are allowed. If you do want to roleplay in a more mature way, please take it off the forum to emails or something.
02. Further to this, and regarding sexual situatons, you should not be roleplaying much past first base.
03. Due to the nature of this forum, things may turn violent at any point. However, you may not kill off anybody’s character unless both the owner of that character and a staff member have given you permission to do so. Your characters may use violence against each other. However, if your character gets hurt, please ensure that they act as if they are hurt and don't just shrug off, say, a broken leg. Keep things realistic!
